Ingredients
- Handful of slivered almonds
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 2/3 cup brandy
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp honey
- 3 cups milk
- 1 pkg meba toast
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- Whipped cream

Preparation
Step 1
1:Put honey, brandy, 1 cup sugar, and water in a pan and boil about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
2: Pour milk and remaining sugar into a pan, add lightly beaten egg yolks, corn starch, and flour. Stir constantly over low to medium heat until it bubbles and thickens.
3: Remove from heat and cool, stirring occasionally so no skin forms on top.
4: Line glass dish with rusks and pour syrup over and let soak for 1 hour.
5: Sprinkle with cinnamon and pour custard into dish.
6: Chill overnight. Before serving, cover with whipped cream and sprinkle with slivered almonds
