  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 to 2 boxes (1/2 gallon each) mint chocolate chip ice cream, softened
  • 1 jar fudge ice cream topping

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, mix together cake mix, butter, and egg. Press dough evenly ino a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Bake 10-12 minutes. Crust will still be doughy. With a fork, remove the air pockets by pushing down evenly over the entire hot crust; allow crust to cool completely.

Open boxes so they lay flat and cut sortened ice cream into equal size slices. Spread ice cream evenly over crust. Drizzle ice cream mtopping evenly over ice cream. Cover and freeze at least 4 hours before serving.
