  • 1 chocolate or white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 boxes(1/2 gallon each) cookies and cream ice cream, softened
  • 1 jar fudge ice cream topping
  • 2 cups chopped chocolate sandwich cookies, divided

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

In a bowl, mix together cake mix, butter, and egg. Press dough evenly into a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 10-12 minutes. Crust will still be doughy. With a fork, remove the air pockets by pushing down evenly over the entire hot crust.; allow crust to cool completely.

Open boxes so they lay flat and cut soft ice cream into equal size slices. Spread half the ice cream evely over crust. Soften fudge in microwave if needed and then drizzle evenly ove ice cream. Sprinkle 1 cup chopped cookies over fudge. Spread remaining ice cream sliced over cookie layer. Sprinkle remaining chopped cookies over top. Cover and freeze at least 4 hours before serving.
