Honey Cake

Ingredients

• 3 tablespoons Crisco, solid
• 3 pats butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup honey
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup strong instant coffee
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/3 cup Carnation evaporated milk

Step 1

Cream Crisco, butter, sugar. Add honey. Add eggs 1 at a time. Put soda in coffee. Sift together flour, ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Add alternating with coffee. Beat and add milk. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. 350 45 min.
