PUMPKIN PIE

Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked pumpkin*
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup canned milk
- 1 quart (4 cups) milk
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- pinch of salt
- a little butter
- pie crusts
- *Use neck pumpkin. Peel, cut into chunks. Put in kettle with very little water. Cook until soft. Squeeze through a seive.

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 40F.
Put cooked pumpkin in large kettle. Add eggs and stir. Mix flour with the canned milk like you would for flour gravy. Then, beat it real good before putting in sugar, salt and butter.
Pour all ingredients together. Taste before putting into pies - you may need a little more sugar.
Bake at 400F for 40 to 50 minutes or until silver knife comes out clean.
Sprinkle with cinnamon on top of pie before putting in the oven.
