  • 10 ounces gin

  • Lime or a brandied cherry and a grapefruit peel, for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Make Sumac-Infused Gin:
Add 1 ounce dried sumac to 10 ounces gin. Let steep 10 minutes, strain out sumac and store.

Make Cocktail:
Add 2 ounces sumac-infused gin to a Collins glass with ice. Top with tonic. Garnish with lime or a brandied cherry and a grapefruit peel.
