HOW IT GROWS:
HARDY PERENNIAL. DOES BEST IN WELL-DRAINED SOIL. SET POTTED PLANTS IN THE GARDEN ABOUT 2 FEET APART, AND DIG UP AND SEPARATE PLANTS EVERY 2 YEARS. PRUNE AND MULCH OVER WINTER.

DOES WELL IN CONTAINERS BUT SEPARATE THE ROOTS ANNUALLY.
HOW IT'S USED:
HARVEST LEAVES AND STEMS JUST BEFORE FLOWERS APPEAR. USE FRESH IN SALADS, BUT DRYING SEEMS TO BRING OUT THE PUNGENT FLAVOR. ALSO GOOD IN TOMATO SAUCES, EGG AND CHEESE COMBINATIONS AND POULTRY AND FISH MARINADES.
