Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup chunky OR smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light; add eggs and mix until fluffy. In another large bowl, blend flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add these dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Add the chocolate chips and blend well. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop cookie dough onto a lightly greased baking sheet; press till flat with the heel of your hand. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
