  • 1 frozen 9 inch pie shell
  • 1 (23-oz.) package of brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • Vanilla ice cream (served on the side with a slice of warm pie)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Thaw your pie shell at room temp for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, combine the brownie mix, water and egg and beat till smooth. Fold in the nuts and pour mixture into the shell. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until puffed and nicely browned on the top. Cool, but do serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla. You’re going to love this!
