Ingredients
- 3 large sweet potatoes
- 1 / cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2/3 cup half and half
- 1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel's
- 1 tea. vanilla
- 1 tea. salt
- 2 pre-made 9" pie shells

Step 1
Peel and cube sweet potatoes. Palce them in a large saucepan and cover with salted water. Bring to a simmer and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Drain, mash and set aside to cool.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a largbe bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, half and half, Jack Daniels, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Add the sweet potatoes and mix until well blended.
Pour into the pie shells and bake for about 45 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Allow to cool. Serve at room temp with whipped cream if desired.
