  • 3 slices raisin bread, toasted and well crushed
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup low fat milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 6 (4-oz.) boneless pork chops

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking dish with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, combine bread crumbs, flour, salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Dredge pork chops in milk mixture, then in breadcrumb mixture. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes then turn and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until pork is cooked through.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Baked sweet potatoes and steamed green beans.
VEGETARIAN: Use non-breaded faux chicken patties.
KOSHER: Use boneless skinless chicken breast halves.
GLUTEN FREE: Use gluten free raisin bread and arrowroot OR another gluten free thickener.
