Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 4 cups chopped green cabbage
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 4 (4-oz.) boneless pork chops
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mustard

Preparation
Step 1
In a slow cooker, combine onion, garlic, cabbage and apple. Sprinkle pork chops with white pepper. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add pork chops and brown on just one side for about 3 minutes. Add to slow cooker with vegetables. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, vinegar and mustard. Pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or until pork and cabbage are tender.
LC SERVING SUGGESTION: Serve baked Hubbard squash on the side.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Add steamed new potatoes.
KOSHER: Use skinless chicken thighs instead of pork.
