Caramel Apple Bars

Ingredients
- Apple Mixture:
- 5 Large granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced thinly
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup white sugar
- 2 T. lemon juice
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1 T. all purpose flour
- *put all of the above in a large Ziploc bag and toss together until well combined
- Caramel:
- In the meantime heat 1 package of caramels and 1 can of evaporated milk (I used 4 T. of milk because I didn’t have evaporated milk) on low, stirring frequently, until smooth consistency
- Crumble:
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
- 1 Cup quick cooking oats
- 1 Cup softened butter

Step 1
Spray 9X13 inch pan, spread apple mixture evenly on bottom, drizzle caramel on top of apples, and then sprinkle crumble mixture on the top. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Crumble will get a little golden.
