Hints from Heloise - Plastic Recycling (Small Good Deeds Add Up)
By Hklbrries
Dear Heloise: Magazine articles and news reports of the oceanic zone of massive plastic trash and the effects on animals and people who depend on the water are heartbreaking.

I keep rubber gloves and a bucket that once held dog food as my recycle bin in the trunk of my car. When I stop somewhere like a carwash, park or store and see discarded recyclable products, such as bottles, cans and shopping bags, I collect them, take them home and add them to my recycling. If the object appears dubious, it is left alone.
