Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan
- 3 tbsp chopped herbs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg yolk
- water

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Roll out one sheet of thawed puff pastry on floured surface to 10 by 16 inch rectangle. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with cheddar, parmesan, and herbs and salt. Fold dough lengthwise into thirds, then fold in half. Refrigerate 10 minutes. Cut dough crosswise into 1/4 inch slices (35-40).
Place slices on 2 baking sheets, refrigerate 30 minutes. Combine 1 egg yolk with 1 tsp water, and brush on top of palmiers. Bake 20-25 minutes, rotating sheets.
