5 or 7 Flavor Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter; softened
• 1/2 cup crisco
• 3 cups sugar
• 5 eggs
• 3 1/4 cups sifted flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 cup milk; mix can milk, whole milk, or 1/2 & 1/2
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp lemon extract
• 1 tsp rum extract
• 1 tsp coconut extract
• 1 tsp butternut extract
• 1 tsp amaretto liquor
• 1 tsp orange or pineapple extract

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and crisco. Add sugar, cream for 10 minutes. Add eggs; one at a time, mix well. Sift flour, salt, baking powder. Add alternating with milk. Add flavorings. Bake at 325 degrees in 10" tube pan for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
