- 1 Tablespoon or more sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons or more butter
- black pepper to taste
- chopped parsley garnish

Step 1
Cover the turnip slices with boiling water, and add the sugar. Cook on high for 10 minutes or until tender, then drain in a colander or sieve. Mash with sour cream and butter, adding more, if needed, until desired consistency is reached. Season generously with black pepper and fold in parsley garnish.
