Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp chilled butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup low fat buttermilk
- Cooking spray
- 1 Tbsp finely shredded fresh parmesan

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with knife. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients in a bowl. Cut in butler with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in grated parmesan and basil. Add buttermilk, stirring just until moist.
3. Spoon dough evenly into 8 mounds on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Lightly coat tops of biscuits with cooking spray and sprinkle with finely shredded parmesan cheese.
4. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-12 min or until golden. Serve immediately.
