BAKED CABBAGE STEAKS

• 1 large head of cabbage
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 1/4 stick butter
• 6 garlic cloves
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Preparation

Step 1

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Slice cabbage into 1 -1 1/4 inch round slices.
Mix the oil, garlic and pepper together in a bowl.
Place aluminum foil on baking sheet and grease with olive oil
Place the cabbage on the baking sheet and pour the oil mixture over each round evenly.
Add a pat of butter to each cabbage steak
Bake for 25- 30 minutes flip over using tongs after 15 minutes
