  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 package Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package (8-ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 3/4-ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (4-ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • fresh oregano leaves

Step 1

Take out a 3-quart crockpot and place chicken breast halves inside. In a separate bowl, mix together salad dressing mix and water. Pour mixture over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. In another small bowl, combine cream cheese and soup. Beat until blended. Stir in mushrooms and pour mixture over chicken. Cook until chicken is tender, which should take 1 more hour. Garnish with oregano leaves and serve.
