Preparation
Step 1
Place all contents in the container. Put the lid on firmly and turn the machine on high speed for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until you see the contents circulating downward toward the blades consistently. Remember to use your tamper at first to assist circulation of the contents, if need be. As the machine runs on high speed, power and friction will help break down the contents, and you will end up with a perfect juice every time. With all juices, your indicator that the juice is ready is when your machine has run for at least 1 minute and the contents that you are blending are vortexing (coming up the sides, across the top, and then funneling back down through the center to the blades) rapidly and look very thin in nature.
NOTE: Use red grapes with seeds if they are available (usually they are cheaper and have great health attributes). Place those in first along with the strawberries and let them run on high speed for 30 seconds. By doing so, it will help make the grape and strawberry seeds more bio-available or liquefied, and more digestible!
You can always use frozen fruit such as strawberries which are easily found already prepared from many public or wholesale stores and are located in the frozen fruit section. For bananas, buy them when they are almost too ripe to sell and they are discounted for quick sale. Simply peel the bananas, cut in to about 5 pieces and freeze them for future usage! You can use honey or Stevia, which is imported from countries like South America and is considered to be the best kept secret as natures calorie-free sweetener, if you want to give your smoothies or juices a little more sweetness. Go easy with this stuff, it is very potent! You can always add more if need be. REMEMBER: If you use frozen fruit, it becomes part of the ice portion of your recipe as well.
