Preparation

Step 1

Melt 1/4 C butter in a skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes; add garlic and saute until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from heat; spoon into a 6-qt. oval slow cooker. Add remaining 3/4 C butter and next 7 ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW 2 hours. Add shrimp and sliced lemon. Increase heat to HIGH. Cover and cook on HIGH 45 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring once after 30 minutes. Add hot sauce, if desired. Serve with French bread for sopping.

The shrimp are done when they start to pull away from shell on back. NEVER OVERCOOK YOUR SHRIMP. Depending on your crock pot they may be done before the 30 minutes and you may need to add more butter during the 2 hours.

This is so easy and out of this world.
