Ingredients

  • 10 each flour tortilla
  • 2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 each chicken breast
  • Sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 can chopped green chiles
  • 2 cups chicken broth from the boiled chicken
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

BOIL chicken breasts until meat falls off bones - about 20-30 minutes. Reserve broth for sauce. Bone the chicken. Fill each tortilla with cheese, onion, and chicken. Roll up and place in 13x9 pan seam side down.

IN saucepan melt butter, blend in flour and add chicken broth. Cook, stirring constantly until very thick. Stir in sour cream and green chiles. Cook until hot but do not boil. Pour over tortillas. Add extra grated cheese on top if you want.

BAKE 20 minutes at 425.
