Ingredients
- 6 oz. elbow macaroni (1.5 c)
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground nutmet
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/5 c. millk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese

Step 1
Cook macaroni until just tender, drain. Combine macaroni, 1 beaten egg and 1/3 c. parmesan cheese, and 1/4 c. milk. Set aside. In Skillet cook the ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/tsp. pepper; set aside. For sauce, in sauce pan melt butter stir in flour and 1/4 tsp. salt. Add 1 1/2 cups milk all at once; cook and stir til thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir about half of the hot mixture into 1 beaten egg; return to remaining hot mixture in sauce pan. Stir in 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese. Place half the macaroni mixute in an 8x8 baking dish. Spoon the meat mixture atop; add the remaining macaroni mixture. Spread teh sauce all over. Bake, uncovered in 350' oven for 40-50 minutes. Let stand 10 mins. before serving.
