  • 1 1/2 cups bread cubes
  • 3 cups milk, scalded
  • 2 each eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup seedless raisins

Step 1

SOAK bread in milk for 30 minutes.

BEAT eggs. Gradually add sugar. Beat in salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in raisins.

COMBINE egg mixture with bread. Pour into a greased dish and set in a pan of hot water. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
