Ingredients

  • 1/4 c butter
  • 10 oz (1 bag) mini marshmallows
  • 6 1/2 c popcorn
  • 1 1/2 c candy corn
  • 1 c chopped peanuts (optional)
  • 1 box (12 ct) chocolate ice cream cones

Preparation

Step 1

Spray large baking sheet and spoon with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.

Place butter in large, microwave-safe bowl and heat in microwave on high for 30 seconds.

Add marshmallows and stir to coat with butter.

Heat mixture in microwave on high for 1 min and 15 seconds. Remove from microwave and stir until smooth.

To marshmallow mixture, add prepared popcorn, candy corn and peanuts (if desired). Coat mixing spoon with nonstick spray and stir mixture well.

Coat hands with nonstick spray. Mold 1 cup of popcorn mixture with hands into a teardrop shape. Then press a cone onto the pointed end (to help secure the ice cream cone "hat") and place it on a plate.

Cool completely and wrap in plastic wrap until ready to serve.
