Ingredients
- Single crust pie
- 1 1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3-5 tablespoons cold water
- Double
- 2 cups al-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cups shortening (Crisco)
- 5-7 tablespoons cold water

Preparation
Step 1
Pout flour, salt, and shortening in a large bowl. Using a pastry cutter, cut shortening into flour until small peas form. Add water and mix into a ball and roll out with rolling pen to a pie crust.
