Ingredients
- 2 pounds slightly ripe peaches, pitted and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cut into smaller pieces
- 1/2 cup rolled oats

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. In a bowl, toss the peaches with the sugar and lemon juice, then spread evenly in a 12 x 9 x 2-inch baking casserole.
In a bowl, mix the flour with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Add the butter and blend it with a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture looks crumbly. Add the oats and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches. Bake until golden brown and bubbly on the edges, 30 to 35 minutes. Serve hot, warm or at room temperature.
