Ingredients
- 1 bag Chester's popcorn puffs-butter flavored (found in the chip aisle at just about any store $2 a bag)
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1/4 cup Karo syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp baking soda

Step 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Pour popcorn into a large bowl. Grease or use parchment paper to line a jelly roll pan.
In a sauce pan over medium heat butter, syrup, and brown sugar until melted (about 3 minutes) stirring often. Increase temperature of pan and bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes stirring consistently.
Remove pan from burner and add vanilla and soda. Stir well. Pour over popcorn and mix well. You can also add nuts.
Spread popcorn on jelly roll pan and cook for 1 hour in oven. Stir about every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven, stir and then let sit until able to handle. Break apart. Enjoy!!!!
