Smasked Potatoes with Broccoli

Ingredients
- 2 lg. russet potatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 broccoli flowerets - lg. w/ stems peeled, coarse chopped
- 1/4 C non-fat milk or low-fat buttermilk
- 3 TBL scallions, chopped
- 2 TBL olive oil
- fresh grd. black pepper, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
peel & boil potatoes until just tender
set aside
cut broccoli into little flowerets
peel stems & cut them up as well
poach broccoli w/ garlic for just a brief 3-4 min
remove broccoli from boiling water
drain
quickly cut broccoli & garlic in food processor & pulse until big pieces are all uniform & chopped up
add to potatoes
add scallions, olive oil
smash up to combine it all
add milk & season w/ S & P to taste
