Ingredients
- GLAZE:
- smoked ham (Farmer John's @ safeway)
- butt end/shoulder - not shank
- cloves
- 2 lg bottles gingerale
- pineapples
- cherries
- 1/2 C apricot jam
- 1/2 C honey
- 1 tBL cornstarch
- 3 TBL lemon juice
- 1/3 tsp ground cloves

Preparation
Step 1
put ham on rack in a fairly deep pan
score
add cloves
use gingerale as a baste over ham every 15-20 min
LAST 30 MIN:
dump out gingerale from pan
add new ginger ale
1/3-1/2 of glaze
add pineapples & cherries w/ toothpicks
add rest of glaze
bake @325 for 15 min per pound
Glaze:
mix all together in sauce pan
stir constantly till thickened & bubbly
