Ingredients

  • Directions:
  • 3 tablespoons oleo
  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 2 tablespoons almonds
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 chicken bullion cube
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • ● In a sauce pan add oleo, rice, and almonds; Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until slightly brown.
  • ● Add the water, salt, bullion cube, and lemon juice.
  • ● Bring to a boil and reduce heat.
  • ● Cover and simmer for 20 - 25 minutes or until water has evaporated.
  • ● Add mushrooms and heat.
