Ingredients
- 5 (1250 ml) cups blended oatmeal
- 2 (500 ml) cups butter
- 2 (500 ml) cups brown sugar
- 2 (500 ml) cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. (10 ml) vanilla
- 4 (1000 ml) cups flour
- 2 tsp. (10 ml) Bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp. (5 ml) salt
- 2 tsp. (10 ml) baking powder
- 680 g chocolate chips
- 500 g Your favourite fine chocolate (white/dark/milk)cut
- into small chunks or grated

Step 1
Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder.
Cream the butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking
powder, and bicarbonate of soda.
Add chocolate chips, grated Chocolate and nuts.
Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees (180 C).
The above quantities make 112 cookies. Half batches are usually enough for a regular family
