Bette's Spaghetti Sauce
The hint of cinnamon plus the sugar gives the sauce a not so acidic taste.

Ingredients
- 1 can (28 ounce) puree
- 2 cans (8 ounces or 1 16 ounce) tomato sauce
- garlic salt to taste
- onion salt to taste
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 16 ounces water
- 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef

Step 1
Place the ground beef (break it up so you do not have lumps of meat at the end) in a crock pot (or slow cooker). Add the seasonings, the sugar, the tomato ingredients, and the water. Stir. Cover and cook for 3 hours on low. Serve over pasta.
