Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion, chopped (2 cups)
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 1 can (40 oz.) sweet potatoes in light syrup, drained
- 1 can (16 oz. sweet potatoes in light syrup, drained
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/4 tea. pepper
- 1/4 tea. Chinese five-spice powder

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Coat 1 1/2 qt. baking dish with cooking spray.
In large nonstick skillet, melt butter over med. heat. Add onion; cook,stirring occasionally, until just starting to brown (8-10 min.) Reduce heat to med-low. Stir in 2 Tbsp. honey; cook stirring until onion is golden, (5 min.)
Meanwhile, on med-high speed, beat sweet potatoes with salt, pepper, Chinese five-spice and reamining 1 Tbsp. honey until smooth.
Reserve 2 Tbsp. onion mixture; stir remaining into potato mixture. Transfer to baking dish.
Bake until heated through (20-25 min.) Serve topped with reserved onion mixture.
