Rice, Spinach and Cheese casserole

Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen spinach (bagged or boxed)
  • 3 Cups cooked brown rice
  • 1/4 Cup butter or margarine
  • 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 TBS worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp each, salt, marjoram rosemary thyme
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 Cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw and drain spinach. Beat eggs lightly. Add herbs, milk and Worcester sauce to eggs. Add spinach, rice and butter, and cheese.

Bake uncovered in a 2 qt casserole in a bain marie (1 inch of water in a larger pan). 45 minutes at 350 degrees
