Ingredients
- Cedar planks (soaked in cold water for 3 hours)
- 1/4 c maple syrup
- 1/4 c bourbon or apple juice
- 2 T EVOO
- 4 (6oz.) sockeye salmon fillets
- 4 sprigs rosemary or thyme
- Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat grill.
2. Mix maple syrup & bourbon together.
3. Set aside.
4. Remove the planks from H2O & place on grill until hot.
5. Brush smooth side of boards w/oil.
6. Place fillets on smooth surface part of plank, top w/rosemary & black pepper.
7. Brush maple syrup mixture over salmon.
8. Cook over a medium to high flame for ~10 min or until done.
