Ingredients
- 5 Potatoes diced
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 T salt
- 1 8-oz Philadelphia cream cheese (cubed) (fat free)
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 can Cream of Celery Soup
- 2 cups Milk
- 2 T margarine
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Optional: Bacon bits, cheddar cheese.

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan combine diced potatoes, onion, and salt in 2 cups of water. Cook on medium/high until water has evaporated and potatoes are very soft and tender. In the same pan, add cream cheese cubes, stirring constantly. Cream Cheese should be melted and smooth- add milk, soups and margarine. Cook over medium to low heat, stirring constantly. Add garlic salt and pepper to taste.
Optional: May add crumbled bacon or sausage to soup.
