Ingredients

  • 2 TB butter
  • 1 pkg. Spanish Rice
  • 1 Minced garlic clove
  • 1 chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 chopped small onion
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (14.5oz)can diced tomatoes-drained
  • 1 or 2 pkg. kielbasa, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

1. In large skillet or saucepan over high heat, saute for 5 min: butter,rice (only) from spanish rice package, garlic,onion and pepper.
2. Mix in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
3. Lower heat, cover and simmer 20 min. or until rice is cooked.
4. Add hot sauce to taste if desired.
