Ingredients

  • 8 cups lilghtly salted popcorn
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup light Karo Syruup
  • 2 cups nuts (Almonds and pecans are best)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, butter, vanilla, and syrup in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until carmel brown in color. (About 10 minutes after it comes to a boil)

While hot, pour over popcorn and nuts, and mix gently. Spread in clusters on a greased cookie sheet to cool. Yummy. Nice for Christmas gifts.
