Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 can (16 ounce) Libby's solid pack pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups (12 fl ounce can) undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk

Step 1

Combine filling ingredients in order given; pour into pie crust. Bake 15 minutes at 425 Degrees F. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake an additional 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool; garnish, if desired, with whipped topping.

On this recipe I have already cut spices in half. Libby's can was doubled in spices. Use just the half spices to be like Mother's pie.
