Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls, split
  • 1/4 cup horseradish sauce (optional)
  • 12 slices deli ham (or 24 if it's thinly sliced)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
Spray a 9 x 9 or 9x13 glass dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Spread roll bottoms with horseradish sauce (If using).
Fold up pieces of ham to fit the rolls and place them on the bottom halves of the roll, next place a piece of cheese; replace tops and place in a single layer in the prepared pan.
In a small skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over rolls. Cover with foil and bake covered, 20 minutes, remove foil and bake 5 more minutes. *These can also be made ahead of time. Just cover with foil and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Bake as instructed.
