Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 teasp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 teasp salt
  • 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 9x5 loaf pan

Combine 1 1/4 cup flour, cheese, sugar, salt and yeast. Heat milk and butter until warm. Add to flour mixture and eggs. Blend until moistened.

Beat 3 mins.and stir in remaining 1 cup flour.
cover with cloth towel and let rise until doubled in size. 40-60 mins.

Stir down dough and turn into looaf pan. Let rise again 20-25 mins.

Heat oven 350 degrees. Uncover dough and bake 40-45 mins. Remove and cool on wire rack.
