Strawberry Margarita Jello Shot

Strawberry Margaritas are a classic cocktail and summer-time staple.

Ingredients

• 1 package of strawberry jello
• 3/4 cup of Cointreau
• 1 cup of tequila
• 2 packages of strawberries
• Note: If you don’t like strawberries, try this recipe with marshmallows instead!
• Some extra jello shot cups for when you finish filling your strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Cut the top and bottom off of the strawberry, then carve out the center. Be very careful not to cut through to the bottom.

Mix your strawberry jello mix with 3/4 a cup of boiling water until the jello dissolves then add 3/4 cup of Cointreau and 1 cup of tequila. Put your “Strawberry Shot Glasses” in a container or on a cookie sheet with edges (it is important that it has edges because some of the jello will leak). Pour your alcohol jello shot mixture into your strawberries. Leave to solidify in the fridge. (The jello will shrink as it solidifies so we recommend saving some of the extra jello shot mixture to top off the strawberries as they solidify).
