Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- a dash salt

Preparation
Step 1
Melt margarine or butter in microwave on defrost for 45 seconds. Stir in cocoa until well combined and looks like melted chocolate.
Beat 2 eggs, add 1 cup sugar and beat until light. Stir in melted chocolate mixture and ½ teaspoon vanilla.
Stir in a ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans.
Bake in 8 by 8 or 7 by 10 greased pan at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or so. I usually bake until the center tests clean with a toothpick or springs back when touched. Pan size will determine moist and chewy or cake like. I frost with a small amount of chocolate powdered sugar frosting or dust with powdered sugar.
This is very easily doubled for a 9 by 13 pan.
