Ingredients

  • chocolate box cake mix (add 1 egg, melted butter instead of oil,1 box of chocolate pudding)
  • Pastry cream (milk, sugar, vanilla bean, vanilla, cornstarch,butter)
  • Graham cracker crumbs & butter, sugar
  • Chocolate frosting
  • Chocolate ganache (cream, chocolate chips, Karosyrup, butter)

Preparation

Step 1

Make cake let cool.
While cooling Make pastry cream
When cake is cool assemble middle layer: graham cracker crumbs, pastry cream, top layer cake, frost cake
Make ganache pour over top of cake let drip off sides refrigerate

Microwave 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
In bowl stir 3/4 cup cream and stir in 5 tblsp light corn syrup
Stir in melted chips stirring till smooth
Cool room temp about 10 min

Pastry cream

In large pan combine 1 cup sugar,6 tblsp cornstarch wish in 5 cups milk,with umber spatula scraping bottom till boil then lower temp to me-low mix in2 tblsp vanilla 1 vanilla bean, 5 tblsp unsalted butter

Chocolate frosting

I used 1 can cake boss fudge frosting. Whipped with stand mixer
