Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1 1/2. tsp. vanilla
• 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine melted shortening, cocoa and salt; add milk and vanilla. Mix in sugar in 3 parts. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add more sugar to thicken or milk to thin, if desired.
