Shimmering Star Cookies

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 3/4 tsp. almond extract
• 1 3/4 cup flour
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• ICING
• 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 2 tablespoons plus one teaspoon milk
• 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
• White edible glitter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat over to 350. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and almond, beating well. Add dry ingredients. Stir to a soft dough. Roll out.

Use a small star cookie cutter. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for five minutes. Cool.

Use a small dollop of icing and put two cookies together, off setting the points. Drizzle icing over cookies and sprinkle with glitter.
