Bean and Barrel

Ingredients

• 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
• 1 lump Demerara sugar
• 1 large piece orange zest
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• Splash of soda
• 2 oz bourbon

Preparation

Step 1

Muddle first 5 ingredients vigorously. Stir in bourbon. Add a large chunk of ice. Stir again and serve in a double old-fashioned glass.
