Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 3/4 cups cocoa powder (I use 1/2 cup regular and 1/4 cup dark cocoa)
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350
In a mixing bowl add melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add salt, vanilla, powder, and soda, and mix well. Gradually add flour and mix on low until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 cup M&M's. Cover and chill at least 30 minutes.

Step 2
Drop cookie dough by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Press a few M&M's onto the tops of each cookie. Bake 9 minutes. Allow to cool for a couple minutes on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container.
